Defense Attaché (USA & CANADA) Brig. Gen. Kabandana Tel: (202) 232-2882 ext:6 Brig Gen Kabandana has held a number of appointments in the Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF) and the Rwanda Ministry of Defence. Before his nomination to the current post of Defence Attaché, Brig Gen was the Commandant of Rwanda Military Academy Nyakinama. He also served as Director of Rwanda Peace Academy, Chief of Logistics (J4), Chairman of Military tender board, Director of personnel and many other staff, training and command positions. Brig Gen Kabandana has served one year tour of Duty (2005-2006) in UN Peacekeeping mission in Sudan (UNMIS) as Senior Staff Officer Personnel and Deputy Chief Military Personnel Officer. Brig Gen Kabandana had done many military courses including Executive National Security Programme(ENSP) at the South African Defence College, Senior Command and Staff course at Kenya Defence College, Senior Mission Leaders Course at International Peace support Training Center, Karen Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Newport International University, California and MBA candidate with the University of Rwanda. Brig Kabandana is married to Uwizeyimana M Sabine and they are blessed with four children.
