The Embassy of Rwanda in Washington DC would like to request all visa applicants and other individuals traveling to Rwanda, to please make sure to have with them Yellow fever certificate during their visa application as a requirement. This applies to all Rwandan borders.

For exceptional cases, where applicant(s) can not have yellow fever vaccine shots; e.g. senior citizen and people whose health conditions do not permit this vaccine, a doctor's written recommendation must be possessed at the time of travel.
